Background
The Toguard C200 (DC16 if purchased through Walmart) is a 3-inch screen front and rear dual dash camera. This model was released in September 2021 by Toguard.
It is used to monitor and record video footage, with audio, of the front and rear of your car simultaneously at 4k and 1080p resolution.It is perfect to capture evidence to use to protect yourself in case there is an accident against possible liability issues. This front and rear dual dash cam features Seamless loop-recording, G-sensor, wide-angel, parking monitor, and motion detection. This dash cam front and rear provides a 12V-24V hardwire kit to support low voltage protection. Powered by a super-capacitor instead of lithium batteries, which are built to survive extreme weather conditions from -4 degree F to 158 degree F. This also gives a longer life span than lithium-ion battery dash cams.
(Note: Ensure to use a true brand U3 SD card and also format it when first inserted. Also, it doesn't support WiFi or Bluetooth.)
Toguard has many dash cams. They have upgraded each one of them to be better than the last. The Toguard DC06 is one of their older models. This model doesnt have all the same features as the DC19 listed on this page. Something more noticeable is the smaller screen and smaller and weaker mount. The Toguard CE80B, is a newer model that features a dash cam that also acts as a rear view mirror. This helps keep the distraction of having the dash cam in the middle of your cars windshield, be minimized. It also has a bigger screen.
Identification
The Toguard C200 is identifiable by the large camera on the back and the text "TOGUARD 4K UHD" beside it, with the front of the device containing the screen.. You can also find five buttons on the bottom labeled, "Menu," "Up," "Ok," "Down," and "Menu," in that order. At the top right corner of the device, you can find both the USB and AV ports, and the Power button at the top left corner. If purchased through Walmart, the model number "DC16" will be located either on the barcode sticker or the bottom center the packaging box.
