Background and Identification

The Google Nexus 9 is the latest tablet in series of Google Nexus tablets. The Nexus 9 came out in November of 2014 and was designed by Google and HTC. The tablet runs the latest version of the android operating system Lollipop .

It is easy to tell if your tablet is the Nexus 9 because this is the first Nexus tablet designed in part by HTC. To check if this is your device, flip the tablet over and look at the bottom center of the tablet. If you see “HTC” written, then this is your tablet.

Features include a brushed metal frame with a soft plastic back, front and rear facing cameras, dual front facing speakers, and an 8.9” screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It comes in three colors: Lunar white, Indigo black, and Sand.
