Background

The Logitech MX Master 3S was released in 2022 as the direct successor to 2019's MX Master 3. Physically identical, the 3S features three key upgrades over the MX Master 3:

  1. Up to 90% quieter click noise. The "S" in 3S reportedly stands for "Silent."
  2. Logi Bolt wireless technology instead of Logitech Unifying.
  3. Higher resolution: 8000 dpi, up from 4000.

Identification

The Logitech MX Master 3S can be identified by the model number ("M/N") MR0077, (or part numbers, "P/N") 810-008295 or 910-006556, depending on region, vendor, and color. The model and part numbers can be found printed sideways on a large sticker on the mouse's underside. The device's serial number is also listed here, labeled "S/N."
