Background

The Logitech MX Master 3 was released in October 2019, featuring a rechargeable battery, an adjustable scroll wheel, and a comfortable thumb rest. It replaced 2017's MX Master 2S, sporting a new design.

There are two application-specific versions of the MX Master 3: the MX Master 3 for Mac and the MX Master 3 for Business.

Identification

The Logitech MX Master 3 can be identified by the model number ("M/N") MR0077 (or part numbers, "P/N") 910-005647 or 910-005692 depending on region, vendor, and color. Troubleshooting

Input lag

Some users have reported that the Logitech MX Master 3 has some slight lag when used wirelessly. This is most likely due to the high resolution of the mouse.

If you're experiencing lag, try using the mouse in wired mode or reducing the resolution.

Scroll wheel issues

Some users have reported that the scroll wheel on the Logitech MX Master 3 is either too stiff or too loose.

If you're experiencing this, try adjusting the scroll wheel sensitivity in the Logitech Options software.

Intermittent function

If your Logitech MX Master 3 is just generally not working, make sure that the batteries are charged and that the Logitech Options software is installed and up to date.
