Dell Chromebook 3100 (Touch)

Dell Chromebook 3100 (Touch) (model P29T) is a touchscreen Chromebook. It is a laptop that runs Google Chrome OS. It is a viable option for schools to provide for young students to use to access online material with the introduction of NTI (non-traditional instruction) and other programs for the students to use like i-Ready and Clever. These programs are also used in tandem with traditional instruction.

This model of the Dell Chromebook 3100 has a touchscreen and was released in 2021. There is a model without the touchscreen capabilities, but the Dell Chromebook 3100 (Touch) allows users a more hands-on approach to completing work with the ability to touch the screen to issue commands.

This model weighs 1.41 Kg (3.10 lbs) and is kid-friendly with a spill-resistant keyboard and rubber edges and rubber bumps surrounding the screen to help avoid damage.

This model is not sold by Dell any longer, but you can sometimes find it being sold on Amazon and refurbished through Walmart.

The Dell Chromebook 3100 (Touch) is encased in a black shell with rubber edges and rubber around the screen. The model number is P29T and it can be located on the bottom of the Chromebook in the dark grey COO (country of origin) label. It is 1.41 Kg (3.10 lbs) which is slightly heavier than the Dell Chromebook 3100 that doesn't have the touchscreen. The edges of the Chromebook are rounded. The Dell logo is located under the screen and on the back of the screen on the outer shell along with the Google Chrome logo on the top left corner.
