Mirror Land

Mirror Land is the original version of the Hall of Mirrors in earlier versions of the game. It was a zone unlocked after collecting 30 treasures. Unlike most other zones, it features no walls and two different types of treasures, blue "Magic Mirrors" and pink "Clouds of Mirage." Both of these only spawn on hexagons. Each yields a Shard, the treasure of the zone, when picked up, and spawns echoes of you as helpers. Mirror Land does not have a native orb, instead a special variation of Magic Mirror and Clouds of Mirage start appearing in other lands which do not drop a mirror shard.

Magic Mirrors spawn three Mirror Images in a triangle on adjacent tiles. Mirror Images move in the opposite direction to the one you take, can kill enemies and can be killed by enemies. If a Mirror Image collides with you or another Mirror Image, it disappears.

Mirage Clouds spawn six Mirages, one in each direction, with one tile between you and them. Mirages move in the same direction as you, can kill enemies and be killed by enemies. They quickly drift away from you as a result of the hyperbolic geometry.

Two types of monsters spawn in Mirror Land: Rangers, who are basic enemies but spawn in large numbers, and Eagles, who move two squares per round.

In later versions of the game, Mirror Land is replaced by Hall of Mirrors, which is the same land except with Mirror Wall reflections.
