Eagle

The Eagle is one of the fastest creatures of HyperRogue. While limited to melee, it's twice as fast as the player and therefore very dangerous if the player is already chased by another monster. It is therefore advisable to kill eagles as early as safely possible. They also fly, allowing them to pass over chasms. They are native to the Jungle and Mirror Land.
