Ivory Tower

Powerful wizards claimed this part of the world, to perform their experiments in peace and solitude. They have changed the direction of gravity, to make it even harder for intruders to reach them.

The Ivory Tower is a gravity land, unlocked by collecting 30 $$$. Prior to version 9.3b, it also required 10 Elixirs of Life from the Alchemist Lab. The main feature of this land is the artificial gravity: moving away from the border is illegal unless you are one cell "above" a solid wall or one of the two cells is a ladder. In addition, Gargoyles create platforms when killed next to a wall.

The treasures here are Ivory Figurines. Collecting 10 Figurines unlocks the Orb of Matter, which allows for creating temporary walls.

Monsters

Servants are basic monsters.
Gargoyles are flying monsters, that is, monsters that can go against the gravity and also move over water, chasms, and similar obstacles in other lands. When killed, Gargoyles transform into a stone wall if killed adjacent to a wall, or a walkable path if killed over water or a chasm.

To kill gargoyles without leaving a block, kill them when they are on a DARK (unstable) step, or on an unstable step above you not near a platform.

Other Information

In the Pure Tactics Mode, playing the Ivory Tower actually puts the player in a Crossroads II, where all Great Walls lead to Ivory Towers. This trait is shared with the Yendorian Forest, Dungeon, and Ocean.

The Ivory Tower is required to unlock the Dungeon, Yendorian Forest, and Lost Mountain.
