Bear School Armors and Diagrams

The School of the Bear is a heavy School of witchers, focused on strength, and hitting hard. They use basic signs, but focus more on intensive combat.


Standard Ursine Armor

The Ursine Armor is that of the Bear. Crafted and modified over time, until the school was destroyed and rendered useless. Until the days of Bjorn. He is the only Bear School witcher, but currently has three trainees in Kaer Trolde. Armor Type: Heavy

Armor Class: 16

Armor Features

Padded Resistant to slashing damage. Heavy You may take an attack for an ally that is within 6 feet of you. This ability may be used a number equal to your strength modifier. The charges of this feat are restored after a long rest.

Crafting Requirements

Cured Leather x2

Cotton Roll x3

Iron Ore x2

Leather Plate x2

Requires a Journeyman Armorer.


Enchanced Ursine Armor

The upgrade to normal Ursine Armor, the Enchanced is just that-- enchanced. The diagrams must be followed perfectly, or else some properties of the armor will either be diminished, or completely eliminated.


Armor Class: 16

Armor Features

Charge of the Bear As an action, you may charge an enemy, dealing three damage dice of damage. This is standard damage, and you must meet an enemies armor class with your roll. This feature can be used twice, then you must complete a long rest to use it again.
