These small spider-like creatures go by several nameswalltulas, skullwalltulas, pygma skulltulasbut they are simply small skulltulas. A walltula has usually just not grown to adulthood, but can also be the result of stunted growth. Much like their greater counterparts, they have a hide resembling a humanoid skull, but it lacks the armor-like rigidity for which skulltulas are known.

Due to its relative lack of size and strength, a walltula usually relies more on ambushing or foraging than actively hunting. Any one is still unusually clever compared to a mere beast. They are well-known for tackling humanoid climbers off trees or cliffs, letting the victim fall to its death, and then feasting on the fresh corpse.

gollark: Wait, *can* I contact him? They're not on here.
gollark: I see.
gollark: You removed the "she/her trial" thing so I reserve the right to use real-world-thingied pronouns.
