Evasion. When Vayne is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage, he instead takes no damage on a successful saving throw, and only half damage if he fails.

Ki-Empowered Strikes. Vayne’s unarmed strikes are treated as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Legendary Resistance(3/Day). If Vayne fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Unarmored Defense. While he is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, Vayne’s AC includes his Wisdom modifier.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Vayne makes three unarmed strikes.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Special Attack (Recharge 5-6). Vayne makes one of the following attack options:
Mach Wave. Vayne throws a punch, creating a shockwave of magical energy covering a 60-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Force of Will. Vayne uses his multiattack action. Each unarmed strike made this way inflicts an extra 5 (1d10) force damage and 5 (1d10) psychic damage.

REACTIONS

Deflect Missile. In response to being hit with a ranged weapon attack, Vayne deflects the missile. The damage he takes from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + 4. If the damage is reduced to 0, Vayne catches the missile.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

Vayne can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Vayne regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Lunge. Vayne moves up to his movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks. If he ends his movement within 5 feet of a hostile creature, he can make an unarmed strike against that creature with advantage.
Stillness of Mind (Costs 2 Actions). Vayne ends one effect on himself that is causing him to be charmed or frightened.
Patient Defense (Costs 3 Actions). Vayne adopts a defensive stance. All attack rolls against him are made with disadvantage until the start of his next turn.

Vayne Carudas Solidor is the crown prince of the Archadian Empire. Charismatic and ambitious, he is equally capable of swaying the hearts of conquered peoples through speechcraft as he is of beating his enemies to death with his bare hands.

Crusader Against the Divine. Vayne knows that the gods exist but considers them to be undeserving of worship. In his view, all gods are cruel puppet masters that manipulate mortals and sew chaos in pursuit of their own selfish agendas. Vayne wants nothing less than to rid the world of the influence of all divine beings so that the humanoid races will be free to decide their own fates, and he will plunge the whole world into war if that is what it takes to put the reins of history back in the hands of humankind.

gollark: Well, not *everything*, but many things.
gollark: Incompatible with everything but extremely cool.
