Conjure Sephira (Recharges after a Long Rest). As a bonus action, Vayne Novus magically summons five greatswords made of magical energy. The swords appear in unoccupied spaces within 10 feet of Vayne Novus and act on his turn in the initiative order. Each sword remains for 1 minute, until Vayne dismisses it as a bonus action, or until it or Vayne is reduced to 0 hit points. Each sword has a flying speed of 60 feet, 20 hit points, AC 15, immunity to poison and psychic damage, and resistance to all other damage types. Innate Spellcasting. Vayne Novus’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 19). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components: Legendary Resistance (3/Day). These statistics represent Vayne Solidor after empowering himself with manufacted nethicite. His body has been grotesquely deformed by the immense power which now courses through his veins. While his excessively muscled frame is less agile and nimble than it was before, he makes up for his diminished dexterity with tremendous physical strength and formidable magic. Swords of Light. In this form, Vayne’s most dangerous ability is his power to summon five swords made of pure magical energy. These blades, called the sephira, can fly through the air seemingly of their own volition and strike at his enemies whenever he wills it. Beyond serving as self-guided projectiles, he can combine them together to unleash devastating blasts of magical power. Variant: No Sephira If Vayne Novus foregoes summoning the sephira, he has an effective Challenge Rating of 15 (13,000 XP). |
