Your phantomborn race can now be found at Phantomborn (5e Race). When you make new pages, please can you leave the identifier, e.g. (5e Race), in the title, thanks. Marasmusine (talk) 10:41, 24 December 2015 (MST)

Greetings, Traveler!

3RR

Sorry for the late reply. We inherit most of Wikipedia's policies, but I'm not going to block established editors for 3RR. I would prefer not to have lots of reverts. If it's vandalism, inform me or one of the other admins straight away (I'm on most frequently but perhaps User:Kydo would like to exercise that power) and I'll deal with it.

Otherwise, revert once and ask the other editor to discuss the changes on the talk page. If there's no response other than another revert, again let me know. Marasmusine (talk) 11:41, 18 July 2016 (MDT)

All right, I'll do that. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:23, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

Replying to your Review of Ulfren

Thanks for the Review on Ulfren.

Don't take this the wrong way, this is not meant to start a fight or be an insult but..

Most of the traits are literally copy and paste from this website(and I have notice some writers on this website have horrid grammar and writing skills, so I am some what at fault for not checking it) While others are copied right out of the 5e Players Handbook, word for word. If its misspelled or if there are random capitalization its from what I C&Ped or how the book spelled it and that's how I typed it up(though, I will admit that I probably made mistakes as well and some of the traits I edited to show just the higher level version of a class trait.) I also put it kind of in groups, instead of alphabetical order. IE: Racial traits first, Barbarian Totem path skills are put together etc. For it was easier at the time. I am not done with the Ulfren Creature and am still editing them.

As far as the "Most creatures have 4 skills and the Ulfren have 6" I can say that is simply untrue. I have been playing D&D since 1998, played AD&D v2.0(still play it time to time) and some 3.5. I also been playing 5e for a while and some pathfinder(like one or two sessions) as well. And if you count the D&D Video games(Baldurs Gate(all of them) Neverwinter Nights1&2 and Online, D&D Online(In eberron) and just random d&d games as some game time. Then Ive played for a VERY long time. I also go to monthly table top game events that consist of 40-60 people playing different campaigns or arenas for D&D(also pathfinder, Warlord, as well as some Warhammer which I want to play)and have seen quite a bit of different home brews(Some great, some not so great.) Not to mention, I have read the 5e Monster Manual quite a bit, along with the more explained monster manuals and some monster manuals that I can't believe exist as well.(Believe one the Monster manuals I read recently is called "Volos Monster Manual") and though 4 is probably the average for standard monsters in 5e Monster Manual, it is not the number set in stone. I also read a lot of stuff on the Candlekeep website.

Ulfren are also a playable barbaric race with their own society and with their own racial traits(look them up, I edited them from 3.5 and put them on here.) The Creature(for fighting against) are leveled and played as if it was a person fighting you not just some low level/rank/challenge rating creature right out of the Monster Manual that you would just happen to come across. The Ulfren are pretty much humanoid Wolves(Not Werewolves) that are generally evil and are extremely Barbaric and go into "wild animalistic rages" which is why I used a lot of the Barbarian class skills for them, and its why I didn't think they needed any real explanation on why they have these "Rage"/Barbaric based skills/traits/features as it was simply in their nature.

My way of thinking is simple: Why fight a Elf Ranger(For example) that is compared to a Level 10 player, but the skills, traits, features, magic spells etc stop as if he was a level 3 Elven Ranger and the only thing that goes up is his Ability Scores, Passive Perception, HP and for some people their weapon and armor may become a +1? But if you were to play a level 10 Elven Ranger, you would get all the traits of the elven heritage, all the traits and features of your class up to level 10 along with the ability scores and feat(if you picked one) and the possible Spells that you unlocked as well. Now I don't expect a Goblin to be that way, or some other less creature of some sort. But I felt like it should be some what even. So yes, my Ulfren are not "simple" creatures for you to fight. They are designed to give you a challenge and are design to actually kill your character. For I don't believe in games where it is meant to be a simple story that you are playing through and that you can only die if you mess up badly. I believe in a game, where if you die. You re-roll a new character if no one was capable of saving you. You remake everything and you drop one level. I guess, I am probably just use to making Creatures for my own group to fight, as stated above, we tend to make it harder for us to play than most.

BUT, I will re-look at them, mainly to correct some issues, for I am not done editing(I need to start just saving this stuff in Microsoft Word or something before posting them on here, so I can edit it over and over again, but then, its good as well to have people show you something that you over looked) and I to feel as if the "Konungr / Drottning" may be a little over powered. I made him as if he was a level 20 barbarian.

Once again, thank you for the review. I enjoy criticism and I hope what I wrote to you answers some questions about the way and reason for how I made the Ulfren Creatures. You also pointed out some stuff that I need to add on here as well. Thank you. And I hope to get more reviews from you in the future. Also, look forward to any help or suggestions that you may have, for I notice you have made quite a bit of contributions on this site.(Mine are mainly in note books that I have collected for the past several years or are edits from previous versions of D&D that I edited and used on my 5e campaigns))

--Scribe of Oghma (talk) 21:35, 26 August 2016 (MDT)

Yes, but monsters aren't referred to as "you", a term reserved for PC classes and races. That was my main gripe because it was so frequent. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:17, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

Azernath

Thanks SirSprinkles for fixing the War Griffon (5e Creature) word error. --Azernath (talk) 07:12, 1 September 2016 (MDT)

That's OK. I myself was cannibalising it for the 5e SRD:Warhorse, in fact! SirSprinkles (talk) 20:20, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

Templates

I only just noticed that you made a bunch of 5e Templates... they look great, and thanks for trying out the template preload! Marasmusine (talk) 01:24, 4 September 2016 (MDT)

I like throwing new challenges at my players sometimes (when I actually have the time to run!), and since they're getting relatively high in level, I thought I'd have them fight something buffed up to be closer to their level, because there aren't really any mid-CR combatants that just use weapons and don't also have some kind of magic or supernatural origins. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:31, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

Helping out on the Classes Page.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for helping out with that anonymous person! --Aegisthus (talk) 20:14, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

You're welcome. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:22, 13 September 2016 (MDT)

Barnstar

Barnstar
I give you this barnstar for working hard on 5e SRD:Creatures. You have a very good grasp with the 5e SRD, and I personally would love to see you focus your effort on that area; in a way taking control of it! Don't forget to take control of the footers on the pages you work with! Thanks so much. --Green Dragon (talk) 14:27, 28 September 2016 (MDT)

Thanks Green Dragon! I'll keep working on it. SirSprinkles (talk) 14:57, 28 September 2016 (MDT)

Great to hear! There are lots of 5e SRD pages which still have not been made. Would it help you if I demonstrated for you how the 5e SRD creatures footer should be like? If you take another 5e SRD subsection's footer, it is similar. I can help you out of course. Do you need any help to start on another 5e SRD category? If so, what are you exact questions and what are you confused about? Thanks! --Green Dragon (talk) 17:04, 28 September 2016 (MDT)
Are there any SRD magic items yet? I've been wondering if I should start those, but I didn't want to accidentally step on any toes legality-wise. SirSprinkles (talk) 02:57, 29 September 2016 (MDT)

Kador Campaign

Hello SirSprinkles, is Kador (5e Campaign Setting) still going to be a thing? Marasmusine (talk) 09:50, 11 October 2016 (MDT)

I'd put it on the back burner for a while, but I have been meaning to add some more to that for a while. Recently I had some pretty good ideas, so I might add a bit soon. SirSprinkles (talk) 13:51, 11 October 2016 (MDT)

The setting seems interesting to me. (Even if it's just for "borrowing" some ideas). --Redrum 18:04, 12 October 2016 (MDT)

Alright then, you can "borrow" some of my ideas. SirSprinkles (talk) 18:11, 12 October 2016 (MDT)

Ugh.

So I'm trying to do a review of Bone Splinter (5e Race) because the author recently declared it complete by removing the default stub template. However, he engaged in an edit war with me over the template and doesn't seem to understand how 5th edition works. Then I accidentally offended him by failing to recognize that edit comments aren't apparent to IP users, as they do not have watch pages. I warned him I'd lock the page if he persisted in an edit comment, which I'm pretty sure he just never saw. He isn't belligerent or rude, he's just annoyed. Am I crazy? Is this thing OP? Or am I just harassing some guy for nothing? --Kydo (talk) 23:07, 15 October 2016 (MDT)

I should probably also say that I've been watching the page since it first was posted because I find the concept to be really cool. I like the race, I just want to see it improved. --Kydo (talk) 23:11, 15 October 2016 (MDT)

Well, I do see many issues, particularly with the progressing splinter weapons. Maybe if the splinter weapons had a lower progression rate, or just didn't progress, that would tone down the OP. Then there's the fact that there's very little meaningful description and almost all of the race's traits are geared towards combat (I'm giving a pass on darkvision. While it does help when fighting in dark places, you could also scout ahead of the party in a dark tunnel, for example). SirSprinkles (talk) 23:28, 15 October 2016 (MDT)

Nomination

You show competence with wiki markup, a willingness to learn and grow, understanding of D&D, respectful and polite communication, helpfulness to your fellow wikians, and the capacity for teamwork. (All of the above more-so than my abrasive self) You are a prolific contributor of content to the wiki. You have played and continue to play a significant role in the 5e SRD project, as well as other smaller projects around the wiki. You even take time to greet new users, NOBODY does that! I see no reason why our community should distrust you with administrative tools. I know you haven't been a user for very long, (we're just coming up on 1 year for you) but you seem pretty invested, content-wise, in the wiki, so I feel pretty confident that you won't just vanish without a good reason. Would you accept a nomination for adminship? --Kydo (talk) 12:47, 18 October 2016 (MDT)

Well, I'd usually think that most admins have more than one year of service before being nominated, but if you think I'd be a good admin, I don't see why not. Nominate away! SirSprinkles (talk) 14:29, 18 October 2016 (MDT)
Damnit Kydo. I was WAITING on this one for a FEW MORE DAYS. Beaten to it. Dang. If it's not obvious, I'm totally in support of this, if you think it would be helpful, SirSprinkles. --SgtLion (talk) 14:33, 18 October 2016 (MDT)
Requests for Adminship/SirSprinkles --Kydo (talk) 14:53, 18 October 2016 (MDT)
Welcome to Adminship. You are now part of "The Face" of D&D Wiki. You have more burden on yourself now that you are an admin because users will be looking at you for editing help, knowledge about pages, etc. Make sure to familiarize yourself with Meta Pages to help address this burden. I recommend you take a look at Special:ListGroupRights if you have not already. Some of the new feature's uses follow: You can now delete pages, protect pages, rollback edits, block users and IP's, edit every page, patrol edits, and do a couple more minor things.
  • Deleting pages is normally done through Category:Candidates for Deletion. Anything with a good reason to be deleted on that page should be deleted. Other times pages should be deleted is in the case of vandalism, spam, or even when someone makes a page and after a few edits they either blank the page or replace it with something like "Please delete this". If this page consisted of close to just the preload it is fine to just delete it.
  • Protecting pages has quite a few different times when it should be used. Pages should be protected according to the author's wishes (with Template:Locked Page added to the top of the page in question), in case of conflict (with Template:Temp Locked Page added to the top of the page in question), in case of OGC published materials (with Template:OGL Top added to the top of the page in question and Template:OGL Bottom added to the bottom), or finally if the page is a vital part of D&D Wiki's organization. Also, if it deals with D&D Wiki's organization the page needs to be protected. For Example 3.5e Homebrew is protected from all non-sysop edits. No template needs to be added to pages if they are part of D&D Wiki's organization (even though some do exist like Template:Admin Locked Page)
  • Blocking a user or IP should be used with respect to policy. To block someone just click "block" (found on Recent Changes, the diff in question, the userpage, etc) and fill out the corresponding form. For a typical vandalism attack I normally block the user for two weeks. Certain things demand a longer block and others a shorter. No standards have been set for block lengths so use your best judgment.
  • Editing every page on D&D Wiki mostly means you can now edit the SRD and the MSRD. Feel free to edit them if inaccuracies are found. If interested further please look at the SRD ToDO List or the MSRD tasks; I am sure your help will be appreciated.
Now that you are an admin I would say more burden is placed on you, but I really hope you enjoy being an admin and I hope you decide to stay around on D&D Wiki for a while more to come. Welcome to Adminship. Again, you're now part of "The Face" of D&D Wiki. --Green Dragon (talk) 17:28, 25 October 2016 (MDT)

Trap Design (DnD Guideline)

So, I made a thing. Do you think it's a good idea to link to it from each of the edition's trap pages? --Kydo (talk) 17:51, 19 October 2016 (MDT)

Yes, I think it would be a good idea. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:06, 19 October 2016 (MDT)

Cryomancer Discussion

Hey SirSprinkles, I am the creator of the Cryomancer class, I have just seen your message you left on there. It is still a work in progress and I am still new to creating things on here, I am also open to discussion on how to make it and also don't mind if you give your thoughts. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The Ferryman (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.

I feel that some of the balancing is a bit wonky, as the Improved Shiver Armour grants immunity to cold damage and resistance to fire damage all at 5th level (no other class has an immunity that soon). Formatting is also somewhat erroneous (Frozen Path should list ice wave as [[Ice Wave (5e Spell)|''ice wave'']], for example, to produce something like this ice wave).
This was at first taken as an almost copy of the Pyromancer class, to begin with but I was just using that as a base. But some of the things on there seem unbalanced so I was changing them, I do agree that Immunity at 5th level is a bit much and I was thinking of changing it to be at 11th level. --The Ferryman

Making a 5e Monster "Elite"

Hello there!

I've been experimenting with ways to take given regular 5e monsters, and make "elite" versions of them, for the purpose of throwing customized, named monsters into random encounters every so often. The way I've gone about it up to this point is to do the following to a normal monster: - increase all ability scores by +2 - increase AC by +1 - increase number of hit dice by +1 - use the maximum possible result of hit dice for its health - increase challenge rating by +1 to compensate for the other changes

Any thoughts about this method? Do you have any alternative suggestions for how a regular 5e monster could become "elite"?

I have a thought: In Lost Mine of Phandelver, there is an example of an "elite" goblin. He wants to replace the bugbear currently in charge of the cragmaw goblins at the hideout. Like one of your suggestions, he does indeed have the maximum hp result his supposed HD could provide. They didn't make any other changes, but that was intended to be a very early encounter, so I can see why. I think you're rather on the right track, given some of the things I've seen in the DDEX modules as well. Generally, important monsters have arbitrarily beefed stat blocks. That said, they don't tend to adjust the CR to account for this. If they are, then they just don't bother recording a variant stat block to show it. --Kydo (talk) 15:51, 28 October 2016 (MDT)
So I wouldn't really technically need to increase its challenge rating? I guess that makes some sense, unless you add something extra to a monster that would legitimately justify the CR going up. Also, what do you mean by "DDEX modules"? Clockwerk66 (talk) 16:26, 28 October 2016 (MDT)
Adventurer's League Expeditions. In the newer seasons, they abandoned the original Epic/Encounter/Expedition release strusture because of widespread piracy, so now they call the modules DDALs and release them exclusively through the Dungeon Master's Guild, where user accounts can be flagged as official DMs and the fee waived. I actually prefer this, because it makes it possible for me to obtain these modules legally, rather than being forced to steal printed copies or pirate the pdfs. As for the CR thing... eh? I don't know. If you're going to record it as an independent stat block, I think you should make sure the CR matches its mechanical effectiveness, so the CR doesn't mislead other users. I'm just saying that no such calculation is apparent in any official works. --Kydo (talk) 17:43, 28 October 2016 (MDT)
Well, it's not like I'm planning to upload any of these "elites" onto a site. This is more for personal use than anything. What I could do instead is keep an "elite"'s original CR, and then just increase the XP reward to an "average" value between the original CR, and the CR just above that. Clockwerk66 (talk) 17:58, 28 October 2016 (MDT)

Luchador 5e

Do you agree with the recent changes to the Luchador? I'm not sure if I'm thinking too nerf-happy or if things need to be changed again. --GD-Psycho (talk) 15:31, 31 October 2016 (MDT)

I think that the class was quite overpowered in earlier renditions (you were a grapple king, practically nothing could escape your grapples). I think that it could still use a few tweaks, but other than that, I think you're doing a fine job fixing the luchador. SirSprinkles (talk) 15:36, 31 October 2016 (MDT)

5e Hazards

Hey, thanks for sorting out those hazards, saved me a job! Marasmusine (talk) 16:47, 1 November 2016 (MDT)

Strange Formatting Issue

On the recently created Scared Peeople race, there is a strange formatting issue that makes everything on the page (including the wiki menu on the left) bold. I'm not sure what's causing this but I thought I should at least report it to an admin, and you seemed to be fixing some of the races at the time.

Btw, thanks for fixing the spelling errors on my Trollkin race. After looking through the edits I was pretty embarrassed. I'll try to read my races over before posting them going forward. --Balthazar (talk) 15:56, 6 November 2016 (MST)

I don't see any issue. Perhaps its just your computer? SirSprinkles (talk) 17:02, 6 November 2016 (MST)
Marasmusine fixed it when changing the trait formatting. Thank you for looking into it though. --Balthazar (talk) 19:46, 6 November 2016 (MST)

Glossary

Thank you for babysitting the mess I made on the glossary while I've been moping. I'll go through and really clean it up in a few days. (Apparently, I don't know the alphabet very well...) --Kydo (talk) 10:31, 13 November 2016 (MST)

Constructs I've Constructed

I know the creatures I have made and have added abilities for a specific purpose. If you find it overpowered, please feel free to move it up in a challenge rating. The Consul's core ability was for lore purposes. The runes also are lore purposed as well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Relic Queen (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.

Yes, but those same "lore purposes" could (and probably should) be discussed in the description. The natural armour of a construct is obviously different from the shell of a turtle, however, this difference isn't enough to make them mechanically different. If the armour of a construct is imbued with magical runes, mention so in the description, not with the natural armour. Similarly, the core ability was mechanically identical to the death burst ability of a 5e SRD:Magma Mephit (and somewhat poorly worded), so I changed it. SirSprinkles (talk) 21:07, 18 November 2016 (MST)
Okay, thank you for understanding, I will try to use the Skills you have taught me in future contributions. -Relic_Queen

Knives Of Thievery

Just inquiring if you would recommend changing that +2 into a standard advantage instead or something else?

Thanks,

--BlitzkriegDragon (talk) 13:32, 24 November 2016 (MST)

Perhaps gaining proficiency in the Stealth skill and adding your proficiency modifier twice when making Stealth checks to hide? Advantage on Stealth checks to "remain unseen" is basically advantage on all Stealth checks. SirSprinkles (talk) 14:22, 24 November 2016 (MST)
Sounds alot better, I'm always willing to change for a fairer build. Still kinda new so changes and advice are welcome and greatfully appreciated. Will get that done in a day or so.

Thanks,

Thank you for editing the Raesokeran Canis race

I just wanted to thank you for editing the race I'm working on. I have quite a few more, but having some extra eyes on it to smooth it out helps immensely. I was planning on requesting some feedback after I've added all of them, but you got to it the day I added it without me asking. That's fantastic.

Would you mind if I ask for some further feedback for fluff reasons? I'd ask my buddies for some feedback, but they're the ones that'll be playing the campaign and I don't want to give too many spoilers.

WesleyDrayke (talk) 06:36, 30 November 2016 (MST)

I wouldn't mind giving you a bit of feedback. SirSprinkles (talk) 12:33, 30 November 2016 (MST)

Awesome. So, I'm working on quite a few new races since there were so many affected by the Phage. My thoughts were that maybe it should only affect mammals. I have traits and history and such written up for avis (birds) and reptilus, but there are already so many reptilian races that I'm not sure they're required. Birds not so much, but there are a plethora of reasons why it might not affect anything but mammals. What are your thoughts?

Also, I'm trying my best to use the musicus table for race building, keeping the points between 5.5 and 6.5 which works pretty well for most. However, I'm translating my notes from pathfinder to 5E. (This has been a project in the works for about 2 years now, and I recently realized 5E would work so much better.) The issue with that is some of the races have several small abilities that don't really combine together, and others have very definite drawbacks to make up for their power which 5E philosophy doesn't like. Fennecs in raesokeran vulpis are one example on the wiki, as is the Rhinoceros in Ungulus and all 3 races of chiropterus not on the wiki yet. The rhino has bad eyesight thus ruining any real chance for ranged attacks or magic (translated as disadvantage on all things ranged beyond 30ft), and bats can't use most melee weapons without undergoing a sort of surgery to remove the webbing of their wings that removes their capability to fly. I'm not sure I'm balancing it right since the bonuses are almost min/maxing when translated. The rhino gets a substantial boon for chargeor bull rush attacks. The horn already gives a 1d6 natural attack and the charge grants an additional 1d6 every 4 levels beyond 1st (5,9,13,17) Maybe 1d4? The bats are basically crazy good with magic and have a similar ability to tieflings (1 can trip at lvl1, a spell at lvl3, and another spell at lvl5 each usable 1/rest) Oh, and they all have advantage on mental saves.I don't even know what I'm going to do with elephant trunks! Anyway. That's all for now. I'll have them written up soon and placed under "review".

Several of your "animal race" ideas could probably be represented as other homebrewed animal races with new lore, or even official races reskinned to look like animals (one example from the DMG being halflings as mouse people). The "bad eyesight" of the rhinoceros could be ruled somewhat like the Sunlight Sensitivity trait, except instead of sunlight, the penalty could occur at distances further than 30 feet. However, restricting vision can be quite impactful, so it would probably be best to avoid this penalty. 5e doesn't really have bull rushes or charges, but one of the race's traits could function similarly to the Charger feat (perhaps just the second benefit, as a +5 bonus is quite substantial. This is a system where a bonus of +1 is good, and a race granting it would be overpowered).

Similarly, restricting melee weapon usage is a very substantial drawback. Perhaps these bats have seperate arms or some kind of natural weapon to compensate? A race that simultaneously grants some measure of spellcasting and a benefit similar to the Gnome Cunning ability would be quite juicy for minmaxers, as very few spellcasters want to be in the melee, and flight in addition? Flight is seen as so powerful that the only official race so far (the Aarakocra) has only one other minor benefit.
There exists an elephant race already, the Loxodon (5e Race), so you could just use those statistics. SirSprinkles (talk) 14:40, 30 November 2016 (MST)

You fixed the 5e traps page!

Thank you. That page was burning a hole in the back of my brain. Im happy to see it sorted out and working in a standardized way. --Kydo (talk) 08:27, 9 December 2016 (MST)

You're welcome. I just saw what Marasmusine did with the 5e Hazards page and thought to do the same to the traps. SirSprinkles (talk) 23:59, 9 December 2016 (MST)

Mental Breakdown Concern

I added the requested benefit.

However the idea of the feat was fo pair to apellcasters who have PTSD or other disorders. It was meant to be harmful as its a legitimate mental breakdown. The idea was a rp based way to easily operate a mage who had a criplling mental disorder and not a buff to magic like most feats.

Facehugger layout

i am also wondering if you can help me figure out the problem with my layout of my Facehugger. i am new if you couldn't tell, and still figuring the Mechanics. --NicMINEBOMB24 (talk) 18:38, 11 January 2017 (MST)

You removed some curly brackets ({ }) that are required for templates to function correctly. SirSprinkles (talk) 15:06, 12 January 2017 (MST)

Saber Tooth

Hi. I noticed you've been editing a lot of my stuff, which is fine, and I was wondering if you have any balancing ideas for my Great saber tooth (5e Race). It's essentially done, but I don't want to remove the incomplete stub, until I've ironed out this issue. Marasmusine (talk) pointed out to me that the race interacts poorly with the classes and backgrounds in the Player's Handbook, mainly due to it not being a humanoid creature, and I've been trying to find way to fix this issue without completely rewriting the entire race or creating a class unique to them (which is a huge undertaking).--Dinomaster337 (talk) 11 January 2017 (MDT)

Perhaps if they could use their paws like humanoid hands? SirSprinkles (talk) 15:15, 15 January 2017 (MST)
gollark: I do admit that it does cause problems with `stone` and `redstone`, but I can't do much about that.
gollark: Then say `cobblestone`?
gollark: I meant using the keyboard with rightclicking it to open a remote thingy to another computer, and then using chat-like commands (but shorter - Dragon's equivalent to "I need 100 cobblestone" is `w 100 cob` (it will match anything containing`cob`)), not neural interface keybindy stuff.
gollark: You can do freeform input without !s or whatever.
gollark: I think another good way is to just use a Plethora keyboard.
