Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 hour
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

This spell summons the spirit of a teacher of the skill, weapon, or armor the caster names during casting. The spirit is able to gift their knowledge of the skill, weapon or armor to the target of the spell.

The subject gains a +10 competence bonus in the skill mentioned. If the target has no ranks in the skill, they functions as if they had a half rank in the skill, and therefore is considered trained in the skill (although this half rank adds nothing to their rolls with that skill).

If a weapon is named, the target gains proficiency with that weapon or type of armor as if they had the appropriate feat.

Arcana

This spell can only be cast using the Queen of Swords as a focus.

gollark: I'm guessing from the other stuff you said that you want Von Neumann machines, i.e. self replicators, ingame.
gollark: <@204444905357967360> The Von Neumann architecture is actually a specific computery thing and distinct from the idea of Von Neumann machines.
gollark: Okay, contacted *you* now...
gollark: … yep.
