Static Armor (5e Spell)

You touch a willing creature, and an electrical aura surrounds the target until the spell ends. When the creature is attacked at melee range, the attacking creature must make a Constitution saving throw or take 1d4 lightning damage.

Static Armor
Abjuration cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a metal scrap or tiny metallic object)
Duration: 1 hour

The spell ends if the target changes its current armor (if armored), dons armor (if unarmored), or if you dismiss the spell as an action.

This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
