Snotlings are small goblinoids with thin, somewhat transparent skin that shows oozy slime. They were created by a wizard who had a dispute over where he had built his tower with a local group of druids. Snotlings eat everything that they see. After they eat 1 pound of food they encase themselves with a protective shell and in one round emerge from it as two snotlings. When the goblinoids emerge, the land within 1 foot of the shell is rendered infertile for a year. When a snotling is killed it explodes leaving this substance behind except it covers a 5 square foot area. Snotlings are a bane to druids, farmers, and elves, and a bad infestation has been known to destroy an entire forest or harvest.

Variant: Napalm Snotlings

Napalm snotlings are the result of tinker gnomes experimenting on snotlings like they did with giant space hamsters. When this breed of snotling dies, the gooey mess they leave behind ignites. The goo covers a 15-foot square centred on the snotling, and remains ablaze for 1 minute. While the slime burns, any creature that starts its turn in the slime or moves onto it takes 3 (1d6) fire damage. In the Azzdanspace setting, these snotlings were created when a Colony began experimenting on snotlings and was destroyed by fire not long after these where created. The only known existing examples of this type of snotlings are located in the demon colony on Zarfin. They are raised and released to rain ruin on the farms of New Kendermore.

gollark: I mean, it's obviously much worse in terms of calculation throughput.
gollark: You mean faster as in latency or boot time or what?
gollark: Calculators are a vaguely weird and annoying product because they're very expensive, worse than equivalent general-purpose computing things like phones, and basically *only* exist for exams.
gollark: It always annoys me that foolish human brains are really bad at running things like high-quality RNGs or cryptography.
gollark: Weird. I would have said it was a marker for the heads of something, but I doubt it would have to be dots for that.
