A skull puppet, more commonly known as a puppet or marionette, appears as a humanoid-shaped doll seemingly made out of wood or clay. It hovers just above the ground on which mundane creatures walk. Illusory puppet-like strings extend upward from its body and limbs, making it seem a creature in the sky or ceiling is controlling it directly as a literal puppet. Its movements are jagged, sudden, and uncoordinated, similarly giving it the appearance of a puppet.

These creatures are created solely through magical or artificial means, most commonly the conjure marionettes spell. A puppet's simple intelligence serves only to obediently follow the orders of its creator.

Constructed Nature. A puppet doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
