More information...

Shiles is the god of fire and rebirth. He is a malevolent god that seeks to consume the vegetation of the lands through drought and fire. He entertains the idea of making his presence on the material world more powerful, even to the point that desertfolk have spoken of his existence and taken up to worshiping him at an astonishing rate. He is quickly becoming the most well known deity in all of Cora and may soon be the most powerful.

Dogma

Shiles encourages his followers to spread his purity. This is accomplished through flash fires, burning buildings, causing destruction to civilization and other methods which always involve a fire. The empire is wary of anyone who worships shiles, and they see his temples and clergy as an unwanted presence counter to their own intentions. Temples to Shiles are in areas of the world that see the most sunlight, a clearing, or place where a building was burnt to the ground also function quite effectively. They are usually not built of stone or wood, but rather a simple circle scribed on the ground clearly by burnt debris. The clergy pray during red sky, when the sun is the color of a flame.

Vestige - The Purifying Flame

Vestige Level: 3rd
Binding DC: 20
Special Requirement: Yes

Special Requirement: You must place a Red Cora stone in the center of Shiles' seal. The stone acts as a focus for the summoning ritual and does not move from where it is placed despite how Shiles manifests.

Manifestation: As you summon Shiles, licks of flame begin to sprout from the cora stone eventually consuming the summoning circle. The fire deals no damage, though the air does feel much warmer than normal. The face of shiles materializes from within the fire, writhing around as the flames leap and lick every direction. He speaks with the roar of the fire, then vanishes into nothing when the summoning is complete. After the ritual has completed the ground the circle was inscribed on appears burnt and charred by intense heat.

Sign: You grow short horns like those of a dragon.

Influence: While under Shiles' influence you are easily angered by what others say, and quickly lose your cool.

Granted Abilities: Shiles grants you power over the hottest flames.

Dragon's Breath: As a standard action, you can breath a 30' cone of fire that deals 1d6 points of damage per effective binder level. Each creature is entitled to a reflex save for half damage. Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again for 5 rounds.

Rapid Speed: You gain a +10 foot enhancement bonus to your base movement speed.

Resistance to Fire: You gain resistance to fire 10.

gollark: And there probably will be, since they can hardly vet all of them thoroughly: there are probably a lot of VoIP providers.
gollark: But they *can*, if some provider comes along which is willing to verify a call with a faked number.
gollark: I mean that it seems to require trusting the provider of the other end, i.e. the one the robocaller is subscribed to.
gollark: Which is probably better than now, at least.
gollark: From a rough skimming of the Wikipedia page it looks like the protocol effectively just requires VoIP providers to not do evil things.
