Shadowblade (5e Spell)
With a couple quick movements, you pull a sword made from solidified shadow from thin air that lasts for the duration.
For the duration of the spell, the shadowblade can be used as a longsword, which you are proficient with.

Additionally, as an action you can make a melee spell attack against a creature or object within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 necrotic or slashing damage (your choice).
The spell ends if you cast it again or if you let go of the weapon.
The damage of the melee spell attack increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8). Any additional damage dice can be split as you desire among slashing or necrotic damage.
