The precision bolt rifle, or burst rifle, is a selective-fire battle rifle equipped with reciprocating barrel assembly and 3-round burst mode.

Ammunition

The burst rifle uses a magazine of 60 rifle bullets.

Short Burst

When you make an attack with this weapon at normal range, you can choose to expend a single round of ammunition as normal, or fire a short burst and expend an additional 2 rounds of ammunition. If you fire a short burst and successfully hit, you can re-roll 2 of the damage die, accepting the new results.
