Niflbolt (5e Spell)
A ray of blue, glowing ice shoots from your palm at a creature you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against this creature. On a hit, the creature takes 4d8 cold damage, and must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or have a small field of mist surround the creature for the duration, moving with that creature. The mist heavily obscures the vision of the target, rendering them blind to anything beyond a range of 10 feet. At the start of each of that creature's turns, the target may repeat the saving throw; on a success, the condition is suppressed until the start of its next turn.

Other creatures in the mist that affect the creature see the mist but are not affected by it, as it appears simply as light fog to them.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
