Saving Throws Str +12, Con +12, Int +6 Magic Weapons. The oni's weapon attacks are magical. Regeneration. The oni regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and hasn't taken cold damage since the end of its last turn. ACTIONSMultiattack. The oni makes two melee weapon attacks. Hoof. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (1d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage. Naginata. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d10 + 8) slashing damage. Storm Shield (3/Day). The oni instantaneously summons a surging cloak of lightning and surging wind within a 10-foot radius of itself that lasts for 1 minute. The cloak functions as a wind wall spell. While the cloak is active, the oni gains a flying speed of 30 feet and can hover. This cloak also deals 14 (4d6) lightning damage to a creature that touches the oni or hits it with a melee weapon attack while within 5 feet of it. Lightning Charge (Recharge 5-6). This ability deals 8d6 lightning damage to all foes in one direction and the Mezu no Oni can teleport along the path of the lightning bolt much like a "dimension door" spell. REACTIONSBlood Vengeance. When the oni is reduced to half its hit points or lower, it recharges and uses its Lightning Charge. |
These mighty centaur oni with dark violet skin and bright platinum manes come riding down from storm clouds with their mighty naginatas prone to deliver savage charges and fly across the battlefields as bolts of deadly lightning. They are only below the akuma no tora in ranks and serve them directly as brutal sergeants of the lesser oni and bakemono forces that come spilling out from the Lower Planes. |
