Know Recipe
1st-level Divination (ritual)
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (Cook's Utensils worth at least 1 gp if cast on a piece of food, Alchemist's Supplies worth at least 50 gp if cast on a potion)
Duration: Instantaneous

You can also use this spell on potions. If you do so, make an Intelligence (Arcana) check. The DC is based on the potion's rarity: 15 for a Common potion, 20 for an Uncommon potion, 25 for a Rare potion, 30 for a Very Rare potion, and 35 for a Legendary potion. On a failed check, the spell has no effect and you cannot target that potion with this spell again. On a success, you learn the method for brewing the potion, as well as any special ingredients or procedures needed, for 24 hours, after which the recipe fades from memory.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell on a potion using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you get a +1 bonus to the Arcana check for each level of the slot beyond 1st.
