Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement) From the carcass of a freshly slain iron golem, a master-craftsman is able to reconstruct an exo-suit of armour, made from the skeleton of the golem. Taking an enormous amount of skill and subtlety the blacksmith is able to work around the arcane sigils, preserving the magical nature, so that the wearer is able to assume the qualities of the golem. Constructed. When wearing this armour you are considered a construct for spells which are affected by creature type. In addition, you are immune to fire and poison damage and the petrified and poisoned conditions, and you resist bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks that aren't adamantine. Fire Absorption. Whenever you are subjected to fire damage, you take no damage and instead regain a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt. Encumbering Weight. The weight of the armour is almost too much for a humanoid to naturally carry, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws and ability checks. Arcane Nature. The magical bindings that keep a golem working is maintained inside the armour, should you be subjected to the effect of an antimagic field you lose all of the benefits of the armour and must make a DC 15 Strength check to move. |
