Ice Blade (5e Spell)
You deftly pull moisture from the air, which solidifies in the form of a sword. When you cast the spell, and as an action for the duration, you can make a melee spell attack against a target within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 slashing or cold damage (your choice). If you cast the spell again, the previously made sword disappears.

This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8). Any additional damage dice can be split as you desire among slashing or cold damage.
