Human (Tiberium Rising Supplement)

Summary

Compared to most races, humans don't seem to have any true innate talents. Almost all elves can master magic, and nearly every dwarf is at home in the forge, but humans have no universal skill. However, what they lack in inherent ability, they make up for in variety and ruthless dedication to whatever the individual desires. Throughout most of history, most haven't had a cause to inspire, and often make do as subsistence farmers, working to stay alive and provide for family. Those with a passion in a particular trade or field would stop at nothing to see their dream fulfilled. A few had ambitions of unity, and set to organize empires.

With the advent of Tiberium and the divisions it sparked, nearly all of humanity was polarized along the lines of the Brotherhood, the Church, or the Empire. Farmers saw their efforts as fundamental to their cause, soldiers fought for their beliefs, and leaders had a fundamental framework to guide their actions. Throughout the Templar-Nod Wars, one would be hard-pressed to find any human who considered themselves neutral.

Relations

Humans rarely have a unified belief about anything, particularly in interracial relations. Many humans attempt to defy traditional paradigms of distrust from elves and dwarves, but even more simply do not care.

Tiberium

With the rise of the crystal, mankind quickly found itself divided along ideological lines. Unlike the other races, it is nearly impossible to characterize humanity as having an at-large opinion about Tiberium. It is important to note that humans tend to rise to extremes of opinion much more quickly than other races. Some humans harbor the most vehement hatred of Tiberium, while others regard it with an air of awe and wonder that crosses the line of deification.
