Skills Stealth +2 Pack Tactics. The gohma larva has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the gohma larva's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated. Spider Climb. The gohma larva can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack. +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage. Sting. Melee Weapon Attack. +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage plus 1 poison damage.

See Gohma (5e Creature). A gohma larva—or "baby gohma"—is a newborn offspring of an infamous monster called gohma. Like its mother, a larva is an spider-like creature, but only has two to four functional legs. It peers upon the world with a single eye, and generally seeks the violent destruction of anything not of its own kind. The exact dimensions and capabilities of a gohma larva depend slightly on the capabilities of its mother, but it tends to leap towards its victims with either a stinger or a bite attack. As gohma eggs are produced in groups, larvae learn to function in small groups of their siblings or peers. Weaponized Offspring. Gohma larvae are produced by a gohma or armogohma, either of which can reproduce either sexually or asexually. Larvae normally inhabit the same habitat as their mother, with few of them surviving into adulthood. Notoriously, most female varieties of gohma reproduce their offspring asexually for the primary intent of using them as scapegoats for predators or weapons for prey. When a gohma is threatened, it will often produce larvae on the spot with the intent of using the newborns as decoys. The larvae themselves will defend their mother at all costs, even if she uses them in this manner.

This form of larva gohma is still is unhatched inside its egg when it is encountered, but tends to hatch abruptly upon sensing a foreign creature. It has the following trait.
Egg Shell. A gohma egg has only 1 hit point, has a speed of 0 feet, and is effectively incapacitated. Attack rolls against it have disadvantage, and it has advantage on all saving throws against magic effects. Finally, it has tremorsense out to a range of 30 feet. The creature can choose to permanently lose this trait at the start of its turn, thereby gaining the normal statistics of a gohma larva.
