ACTIONS

Multiattack. The dodongo makes two bite attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage.

Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dodongo exhales fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 14 (4d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

See Dodongo (5e Creature).

Whereas most dodongos are large, bulky, and powerful monsters, a gecko dodongo (or "twilit dodongo") is relatively thin and agile. As its name suggests, it resembles a gecko grown to the size of a wolf and covered in coarse black scales. It can even use its agile feet to climb up the walls and ceilings of the caverns in which it dwells. Like most dodongos, it is drawn towards areas of high heat, and roasts its prey alive with blasts of flame.
