Firesweep (5e Spell)

As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a weapon attack against one creature within range, otherwise the spell fails. This spell has a range of 5 feet if the weapon attack is a melee attack, or 60 feet if the weapon attack is a ranged attack. On a hit, the target suffers the the attack's normal effects, and a different creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of the target takes fire damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.
