You hold out your hand and create a 60 foot line of jet-black flame. Every creature caught within this line must make a Dexterity saving throw. The fire deals 2d6 fire damage and 2d8 necrotic damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful save.

Range: 60 feet
Components: tuft of hair, vial of ink
Duration: Instantaneous

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the spell deals an additional 1d6 fire damage and 1d8 necrotic damage for every level above 2nd.
