Dragon Troll (5e Race)

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: I don't believe I can fix this race properly without gutting the thing entirely. Large sized, 1d10 natural weapon, a breath weapon, AND unconditional regeneration. Well above the power level of all SRD races.

Dragon Troll

A beast walking through the carnage they created... laughing, as they know more shall come to stop it, but all shall fail. A meadow said to be protected by a druid with wings larger than 10 men and the ability to regenerate from any impact, no one has ever seen him... for he is above... watching, as his lands are untouched, and peaceful. A mysterious 9 foot tall figure walks into the local tavern, arousing suspicion, he tries to take the attention away from himself by ordering an average glass of ale... but someone always has to pick a fight with the biggest guy in the bar... the man punches at the hooded figure, his hand ached as he hit but a patch of super hard scales, then being turned to ash from the hooded figures scorching breath. These could all be examples of a Dragon Troll. -->

Physical Description

Dragon Trolls very largely upon how they look depending on what kind of dragon there father or mother was. There are random patches of scales varying in color, usually a "soft" underbelly with a much harder hide and even harder scales. There are tusks and horns, horns almost always being larger than the tusks, although in some rare cases the tusks are abnormally large with the horns being small. However when this odd abnormality occurs, the Dragon Troll has a more gorilla like stature, always using it's fists while it roams.

History

The history of the Dragon Troll is a confusing story of love, war, and heartbreak. It all starts with a black dragon who was born with an abnormal amount of kindness, which is odd, because black dragons are known for being major A-Holes. His non-existent family eventually found out about his kindness, and banished him to the outside world. He wasn't sad at all, but he now had a hatred for his kind. Eventually he found himself a party to adventure with and, over the years, became good friends with them. One day, they were assigned a job. This job, was to destroy a group of cultists that had been slowly stealing people from the nearby town over the span of a few years. (i will continue history later)

Society

Dragon Troll society is almost non existent, being that different species of dragons usually never join forces for any reason, especially to just be social. If a Dragon Troll were to meet another Dragon Troll that's draconian parents are of a different color then they would most likely kill each other.

Dragon Troll Names

Dragon Troll Names seem to just be a combination of there parents names and then becoming an anagram just because the parents don't really want there kid to be the same as everyone else, they just want them to be different, however this could change from dragon to dragon because of how different they are from each other.

Male: Male Dragon Trolls would have more letters from their fathers name then there mothers

Female: Female Dragon Trolls would have more letters from their mothers name then there fathers
