Sometimes referred to as "giant bees," these hornets are significantly bigger than most insectsany one of them is larger than a hylian's hand. Like more typical bees, they gather in hives that are most often found in hives which are built in trees or bushes. Unlike most insects, deku hornets are known to actively hunt in groups and sting with the intent to kill. They can make prey out of creatures many times their size, even humanoids. Approaching a deku hornet hive can be a death sentence for someone unable to deal with the consequences.

gollark: A more arbitrary rule might be better if it lines up with moral intuitions even.
gollark: That is still not actually objective. Also, threshold of probability on that?
gollark: The best you can do is pick a "less arbitrary" one somehow.
