Black Lion (4e Class)

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: I've noticed that a lot of the powers don't quite use the right terminology (e.g. "You lose one negative condition"). Need to go through them all and correct.

Black Lions are independent warriors who safeguard settlements, towns, and trade cities. Often acting as scouts, spies, or enforcers to a powerful magistrate, emissary, or organization. Black Lion's possess a keen sense for physical combat, local politics, and top-down administration. They prefer to navigate crowded streets than roam the untamed wildernesses of the world. At the core of every Black Lion is the theme of a moderate lifestyle, advantageous politics, and battlefield improvisation. Lions are forward thinkers and every movement they make is always a step in the right direction.

Black Lion Overview

Characteristics: You combine fast, hard-hitting melee attack power with excellent ranged attack ability, and shift easily from melee to ranged combat. Thanks to your offensive exploits you can always strike or fletch twice.
Religion: Avandra, Erathis, and Kord are commonly worshipped deities. Avandra worshippers number the fewest among the lions and tend to be quite the travelers and woodsmen. Erathis worshippers are the most common. They favor order, expansion, and political administration. Kord worshipers tend to be life long warriors, horsemen, and armorers. Many lions simply worship all three deities.
Races: Any. Dragonborn make excellent skirmishers while Elves make the best archers and Humans can excel at either. Also great races: Half-Orc, Longtooth Shifter, and Bugbear.

gollark: Did some country do something stupid again?
gollark: Most drugs seem to have some sort of terrible reasonably-unlikely-but-there and/or long-term effect.
gollark: No comment.
gollark: I end up just not being able to get to sleep for ages coronavirus or not. It's very annoying.
gollark: Sleep is important for your immune system and whatnot.
