Prerequisite: Black Lion Class

A Black Lion Lead is a Striker balanced between melee and ranged attacks. They represent an elite group of operatives within the Black Lions. They maintain their specializations of: physical combat, cohesive politics, social grace, and civil administration. These lions learn to be more than just a pawn in the game of life and death. They seek to use their powers to further their own goals as well as the goals of their superiors. They tend to see themselves as dominate, well spoken, and elusive. They assume the role of the silent hunter in almost every situation.

Black Lion Lead Path Features

Lead's Mastery (11th Level): You gain a power bonus to damage equal to your Wisdom modifier whenever you hit with an attack. In addition, when you miss with an attack, you may choose to deal damage to the target equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Lead's Action (11th Level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you also gain a move action.

Lead's Recovery (16th Level): Anytime you hit your target at least twice in one round you gain temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Trigger: An adjacent enemy shifts or moves.
Target: The enemy
Attack: Strength Vs. AC
Hit: 1[w] + ability modifier damage, and all adjacent targets to you are immobilized until the end of your next turn.

• Lion's Bear-trap: Sometimes you can be forced to act as the secondary Defender during combat. This ability allows you to be sticky, similar to a Fighter. Meaning that opponents find it hard to evade or move past you. Archers will hopefully find little use for it, as it is only usable during melee.

4e Power Action Type::Free Action	Personal
Trigger: One of your attacks drops the enemy to 0 or fewer hit points.
Effect: You gain an action point that you must spend before the end of your next turn.
Special: One of your attacks must drop the enemy to 0 or fewer hit points to gain this effect.

• Lion's Glory: Grants a bonus for doing your job correctly, and that job is killing things. The action point is temporary but extremely useful, especially for you. Remember, you gain a move action and a standard action every time you use an action point thanks to the Lead's Action path feature. Usable once an encounter.

Target: One creature
Attack: Strength/Dexterity Vs. AC
Hit: 4[w] + ability modifier damage and the target pushed 2 squares and knocked prone.
Miss: Half damage and the target is knocked prone.

• Lion's Prey: A daily ability that deals only moderate damage for 20th level but allows for you to gain Combat Advantage against your opponent. It is especially useful when setting up a Rogue for a critical attack which requires Combat Advantage to use effectively.
