He expanded on David Buckingham's still life enumeration results, generating complete lists of still lifes and pseudo still lifes up to 24 cells, as well as period 2 oscillators and pseudo oscillators up to 19 cells.
He also expanded on Buckingham's glider synthesis results, generating syntheses of many 15-cell still lifes, all pseudo still lifes up to 15 cells, many remaining period 2 oscillators of 15 - 18 cells, most period 2 pseudo oscillators up to 19 cells, and most higher-period oscillators and pseudo oscillators up to 20 cells.

gollark: It's currently *probably* the optimal structure for high-efficiency fuels at low heat.
gollark: (you just plonk down a glowstone cooler in bits where there are two moderators, and then copper in the empty spaces where you can't put glowstone coolers)
gollark: Glowstone coolers.
gollark: Yes, but moderators.
gollark: So I tried to design something satisfying as many of those constraints as possible, and came out with this, which coincidentally has *great* cooling support.
