Draco in Leather Pants: Gunner has a few vocal fangirls on the forums. He has elements of Evil Is Cool and Evil Is Sexy (along with Naveed).
Title Confusion: Due to the URL, the comic is often called "Zap IN SPACE".
- This is also something of a Berserk Button for the author, to the point that they've migrated to a new URL.
The Untwist: speculation on if "The Serpent" was really Gunner was rampant. It seemed too obvious.
