- Canon Sue: Deconstructed hilariously in Jaden. Despite his constant cocky bragging about "being the best duelist", "being flawless", and winning nearly every duel (with the entire cast begrudgingly admitting that he has a point), he gets humiliated, beaten-up and nearly killed multiple times an episode by pretty much every character he pisses off (i.e. the entire cast). If there is a dog present, he will be chewed on.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: A scene depicted a drunk Jaden in episode 7; almost a year later, ShadyVox, inebriated in a Vlog.
- Memetic Mutation: "WHERE THE F*** ARE MY CHEETOS?!?!"

Sephirex
- Special Effect Failure: The footage Sephirex uses was ripped directly from Cartoon Network, and still contains things like the channel's logo, TV ratings, and even ads for the channel's other shows. But thankfully, he lampshades it.
