• Fake Brit: Canadian Jennifer Hale as the Scarlet Witch (who isn't British) Then again, Scarlet Witch was born and raised in a fake country. Whose to say what her accent sounds like?
• Hey, It's That Voice!:
  • Patrick Stewart reprises his role from the movies as Professor Xavier.
  • Likewise, Robin Atkin Downes reprises his role fron X-Men Next Dimension as Pyro and takes on the role of Cyclops in the first game (while absent in the second game, he'd later reprise the role of Cyclops-- albeit corrupted by Doom--in the first Marvel: Utlimate Alliance game).
  • This series would also be the first time Steve Blum and Peter Lurie voiced their respective roles of Wolverine and Sabretooth, with both reprising their roles in Marvel: Utlimate Alliance and Wolverine and the X-Men and Blum as Wolverine a lot of times since. Blum also voiced Omega Red in the second game and Lurie voiced Avalanche in the first game, and Holocaust and Blob in the second one.
  • Cree Summer as Magma; while she herself wasn't in any prior incarnations of X-Men, her father, Don Francks, voiced Sabretooth in the 90 X-Men cartoon series.
  • John Dimaggio (Bender, Wakka, Gilgamesh) as The Juggernaut.
  • Jennifer Hale (Samus Aran, Jean Grey, Commander Shepard) as Scarlet Witch and the Stepford Cuckoos.
  • Josh Keaton (Spider-Man) as Cyclops in the second game.
  • Ed Asner (Carl Fredrickson, Uncle Ben) as Healer.
  • Lou Diamond Phillips (Angel Guzman) as Forge.
  • Tara Strong (Bubbles, Timmy Turner, Raven) as Blink.
  • Tony Jay (Judge Claude Frollo) as Magneto in the first game.
    • Richard Green (Hugo Strange, Skyquake) as Magneto in in the second game.
  • John Kassir (The Crpyt Keeper) as Deadpool, Pyro (in the second game), and Sauron.
  • Khary Payton (Cyborg, Drebin, Aqualad) as Bishop and Nick Fury.
  • James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan, Green Arrow, Tidus) as Iceman in the second game.
  • Grey DeLisle (Azula) as Mystique
  • Dawnn Lewis (Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor, Robin Dumars, Terri Lee) as Storm in the second game.
  • Danica Mc Kellar (Winnie Cooper, Frieda Goren, Miss Martian) as Jubilee.
  • Earl Boen (Dr. Silberman, the ghost pirate LeChuck) as Colossus in the first game.
    • Jim Ward (Bertrand, another Professor X, The Stephanie Miller Show) as Colossus in the second game and Guardian.
  • Dee Bradley Baker (Klaus, Curt Connors) as Nightcrawler and Multiple Man.
  • Richard McGonagle (Four-Arms, some of the Highbreed) as Apocalypse in the second game.
  • Alastair Duncan (Alfred, Mortanius) as Bastion.
  • Dorian Harewood (War Machine, Modo) as Shadow King
  • Armin Shimerman (General Skarr, Quark, Principal Snyder) as Toad.
  • Cat Taber (Mission Vao, Padmé, Penelo) as Rogue in the second game.
• The Other Darrin: Several voice actors were changed from the first game to the second, but most of the changes were minor. Magneto, sadly, lost the magnificent baritone of Tony Jay.
  • Some of these were downright bad, particularly characters with accents like Rogue and Gambit, who had horrendous voices in the second game.
    • This is odd for Gambit considering he was played by the same actor in both games.
• What Could Have Been: Dummied Out content in the PC version of the second game indicated that Dazzler was planned as a playable character at some point.
