Theatrhythm Final Fantasy/YMMV
- And the Fandom Rejoiced: surely the fact that One-Winged Angel is, for the first time, going to be heard on a Nintendo console won't hurt.
- And the fact that it's an Elite Beat Agents esque game ALSO can't hurt. The graphics however are definitely lacking.
- While the graphics aren't Dissidia or XIII standard, some do think they're adorable.
- Secret characters, including Faris, Aerith, Snow and Vivi!
- More characters announced and added to the Main Page! They are: Minwu, Rydia, Locke, Seifer, Yuna, and Ashe!
- Chibi-fied Safer Sephiroth. You've read that right: chibi-fied Safer Sephiroth.
- YES.
- Cosmos is now a playable character!!
- Nobuo Uematsu endorsed the game over twitter saying :
"I played Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for the first time today. Not too shabby! As I remembered various things from the past 20 years, I was reduced to tears. FF music fans should definitely play it. Won't you cry with me?"
- Not only is the game getting DLC, but the dev team hopes to release fifty songs.
- Somnus is a playable field song ftw!!
- Base Breaker: Some are happy with Square Enix experimenting something new, some would have rather liked a port of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy on the 3DS. But with such a departure from Square's established genre, as well as the series' own Fan Dumb, this is inevitable.
- That the PlayStation Portable has two high-profile Final Fantasy games (Dissidia Final Fantasy and its' sequel and Final Fantasy Type-0) while the Nintendo 3DS has none so far, and that people expected a remake of Final Fantasy V for the Nintendo 3DS doesn't help, either.
- However, it would be patently untrue to say that Square doesn't have more typical plans for the 3DS.
- ... like a Dissidia 012 port?
- And SE does want to do a remake of V for the 3ds, but as V was never the most popular of the 2d final fantasies, don't hold your breath. Although it does have the obscenely popular Gilgamesh and, thanks to his hamminess in Dissidia, Ex Death has also seen a significant rise in popularity. So it's really a 50/50.

- Crowning Music of Awesome: duh. It's about time that the series' track record finally gets used as it deserves. Only this time, given the game's based on music, the developers aren't really allowed to screw up. Chris Kohler, of Wired and [1] fame, put it best:
Chris Kohler: "If it sucks, it’ll really suck."
- After listening to one of the released tracks, its safe to say that we've got nothing to worry about.
- Player Punch: as revealed in the Jump Festa trailer for the game, one of the Event music tracks is "Aerith's theme". Guess what the background FMV is about.
- Ruined FOREVER: For some people, just the fact alone that it's not like Dissidia. Final Fantasy is a Long Runner, it wouldn't be a part of the series or spinoffs without someone calling this trope.
