• Hey, It's That Guy!: Joey Fatone was originally a member of 'N Sync. Melissa Peterman played Barbara Jean on the Sitcom Reba.
  • The CMT version's bandleader is a familiar name with an unfamiliar face: Steve Dorff, best known for co-writing several country music hits from soundtracks, including "Heartland" and "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait, "Every Which Way but Loose" by Eddie Rabbitt, "Coca-Cola Cowboy" by Mel Tillis, etc.
• Uncanceled: As mentioned above, it was revived for CMT with minimal changes except in personnel and song choices.
