The games

• Marth Debuted in Smash Bros: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is the U.S debut of Zobio and Zobiko, as The House of the Dead EX was only released in Japan.
• No Export for You: The House of the Dead EX was never released outside of Japan.
  • It's even worse when you realize that the main characters, Zobio and Zobiko, are in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, but the game that they actually star in never even got a worldwide release.

The films

• Actor Allusion: When the protagonists of the first film meet Kirk.

Simon: "Oh great, here comes the u-boat captain!"

• The Cameo: Then Sega of America president Peter Moore and series creator Rikiya Nagakawa appear as zombies in the first film.
• Creator Backlash: It may come as a surprise to learn that Uwe Boll considers the first film to be an absolute pile of crap, and his worst film to date. However, he insists that this is in no way, shape, or form down to him, and that the screenplay (which he couldn't make any changes to) was to blame.
• Hey, It's That Guy!: Jürgen Prochnow is Captain Kirk.
  • Clint Howard appears yet again in a weirdo role.
  • Android 18 is Karma.
  • Eric Gotts and Ethan Wakefield is Simon.
  • Final Girl Rachel is Casper.
  • Anubis is Castillo.
  • Lois Lane is Johanna.
  • The sequel features Emmanuelle Vaugier, Sid Haig, and Sticky Fingaz.
• Off-the-Shelf FX: Transitions and some action scenes in the first movie use footage from the original game, that is to say the one released in 1996.
• The Other Darrin: Rudy's and Alicia's actors are replaced in the sequel. It also makes it seem that Rudy aged two decades in a short time.
