• Cliché Storm: At points, Chun-Li's soliloquies buffet you mercilessly with them.
• Complete Monster: M. Bison
• Fight Scene Failure: It's often easy to tell the blows aren't landing even a bit.
• Ham and Cheese: Michael Clarke Duncan as the gleefully evil Balrog.
  • Chris Klein is a close second on the heroic side.
• Special Effect Failure: Chun-Li's Kikoken was done in a basic editing program. Benzaie showed how easy it really was (NSFW).
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: A lot of people were annoyed by Chun-Li snapping Bison's neck in cold blood with his daughter watching, due to the fact that the scene could have been used to question the nature of revenge as well introduce another twist into the plot.
• Took the Bad Film Seriously: Everyone but Michael Clarke Duncan it seems.
• Villain Decay:
  • Vega is supposed to be the world's greatest assassin. But once he actually gets to fighting Chun-Li, the fight lasts exactly one minute from opening blow to closing taunt.
  • Two mooks dealing with an enraged Chun-Li minutes later last almost half as long.
