Siren (video game)/Trivia
- Fan Nickname:
- Suda Kyoya's abbreviated name and internet handle is SDK. His American counterpart in Blood Curse became known as USDK.
- Shibito Burger.
- Fan Translation: "Shibito" literally means "dead ones" or "dead people". Creative fan translations sometimes call them "deadites", after the Evil Dead franchise. "Yamibito" (yami meaning "dark") is sometimes creatively called "Darklings".
- No Export for You:
- Since the first game did so badly in North America, the second was only released in Australia/New Zealand, Europe and parts of Asia (including Japan and South Korea).
- Played straight with the official OSTs. Only way to get them is to search auction sites, go to stores/dealers that can sell them or get them from the internet.
- Reclusive Artist: The English voice cast for the first game. Absolutely nothing is known about them, and it's unknown if they were even actors to begin with and not just in house staff at the studio that localised the game. Blood Curse would also qualify were it not for the fact that the cast were all well known voice actors using pseudonyms. For example, most players will recognize Yuri Lowenthal as Howard right away.
- Word of God: An interview with the director clarifies some points about the original game... but leaves some mysteries, and actually outright contradicts the game itself at one point.
