Sigma Star Saga/Fridge

In the first fight with Psyme, destroying her gun turrets causes her to fire homing missiles at her. In the rematch, destroying her turrets causes her to retreat. Why doesn't she use her missiles in the second fight?
- Because angry as she was, she was still in love with Recker. That probably caused her to not go all out in the fight.
