Saints Row: Gat out of Hell/Heartwarming

• Saints Row IV was all about the Boss willing to raise heaven and earth to get Johnny back. This time around, Johnny gets to return the favor.
  • Johnny even admits, once he finds out the Boss wound up in Hell, not only is he going there to get the Boss back, but he doesn't expect to get out himself, but he's going anyway to at least get the Boss out, and specifically punch Satan in the face for making him have to do that.
• Dane Vogel, ironically enough, Took a Level in Kindness after death. Not only does completely understand why Johnny would want to ventilate his skull, he even offers to help Gat and Kinzie out and offers them the Ultor building as a safe house. Granted, he does have an ulterior motive, but it's of no detriment to the Saints whatsoever, and the help he does offer is generous to the extreme regardless.
  • If you find his audio books, turns out he had a lot of time to reflect on his former life and admits not only was he Too Dumb to Live in several ways, meeting the Saints was the best thing that ever happened to him.
  • He comments on the DeWynter sisters on occasion, saying he likes working with them and appreciates their competence.
  • The cherry on top, though, is the mission where you have to rescue all your allies in Hell from getting taken out, and Dane is officially considered a homie, which is a complete 180 from his portrayal in Saints Row 2.
