SD Gundam G Generation/Trivia

• Hey, It's That Guy!: The original character now called Luke Lezard was originally named Leroy Gilliam - as in, the Zeon pilot from Yoshiyuki Tomino's original Gundam novel responsible for a friendly fire incident that claimed Amuro. Presumably, this is why he was renamed.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: Most of the G Gen originals have voice actors who already lent their talents to Gundam:
  • Mark Gilder: Junichi Suwabe (Sting Oakley, Yuu Kajima)
  • Lanalaw Sheid: Kazuya Nakai (Witz Sou, Reverend Malchio, Barry Ho)
  • Ellis Claude: Kumiko Watanabe (Kathejina Loos, Fran Doll) and replaced by Ayumi Fujimura (Audrey Burn) in SD Gundam G Generation World.
  • Zenon Teigel: Yosuke Akimoto (Steiner Hardy, Master Asia, Stalker, Seigel Clyne)
  • Claire Heathrow: Fumiko Orikasa (Meyrin Hawke)
  • Junias Liam: Tsutomu Kashiwakura (Glemmy Toto)
  • Ernst Yeager: Tomoyuki Dan (Chronicle Asher)
  • Kei Nimrod: Naoko Matsui (Roux Louka, Dorothy Catalonia)
  • Rachel Ransom: Megumi Hayashibara (Christina McKenzie) and replaced by Tomoko Kawakami in SD Gundam G Generation Spirits and onwards
  • Sheld Forley: Toshihiko Seki (Duo Maxwell, Rau le Creuset, Rey za Burrel). In SD Gundam G Generation Wars he's replaced by Takahiro Mizushima
  • Billy Blaze: Takeshi Kusao (Dorel Ronah). He also plays Akira Hongo, the other Hot-Blooded original. In SD Gundam G Generation World, he's replaced by Yuuichi Nakamura (Graham Aker)
  • Niki Taylor: Rei Sakuma (Nina Purpleton, Mariemaia Barton)
  • Florence Kirishima: Satomi Arai (Fa Yuiri)
  • Elfride Schutz: Keiko Toda (Matilda Ajan) and later replaced from SD Gundam G Generation Wars and onwards by Atsuko Tanaka (Juca Meilasch)
  • Ivan Ivanov: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Shagia Frost)
  • Doku Damu: Norio Wakamoto
  • Eterna Flail: Kikuko Inoue (Aina Sahalin)
