Popotan/Heartwarming
- When Konami and Mai reconcile at the end of episode 2.
Mai: (while looking at Konami's portrait of her) Is this really what I look like?
Konami: Yes, but the real you is much more beautiful!
- Them saying goodbye in the last episode is an equally heartwarming moment.
- Another scene involving a scetchbook: Mai looking for the other Mai's book in the rubbish heap after it was stolen, even though she berated her earlier for even trying to talk to her, because that's what friends do. The younger Mai was probably not the only one crying.
- In episode 5, the girls journey to a dandelion field in search for answers about their time hopping. There is something immensely touching about the sisterly way they interract with each other during this trip. Of course, this only makes what happens at the end of the episode that much harsher.
- Nono finally being able to celebrate Christmas with her grandfather.
- The ending, in which the sisters reunite and continue travelling together.
