Nicktoons Tales

Welcome to the Nicktoon Kingdom

A planet where all Nicktoons live and even interact with each other. One must remember that wacky scenarios and nonsensical plots run abound in this kingdom. The fancomic follows a Nicktoon never heard of in television, A.D.S., as he goes through mishaps and misfortunes to protect his kingdom. Among him are his friends Timmy Turner and Zim as they tackle all sorts of challenges that get in their way.

This series is based upon Nickelodeon's cartoons, but it frequently uses anime characters and settings as well.

Tropes used in Nicktoons Tales include:
  • A God Is You: A piece of trivia once stated that people in Real Life are like gods to the Nicktoons. Now imagine what would happen if you were to create you own fictional story...
  • Animeland: The place where anime characters live is practically named after the trope.
  • Art Shift: The Nicktoons are able to change their appearances, no matter where they are or if the story calls for it.
  • Bishonen: Natsume and Ruka, of course! A.D.S. also fitted this trope in Nicktoons Tales of Terror.
  • Butt Monkey: Timmy mostly fits this, but A.D.S. also had his fair share of misfortunes.
  • Call Back: A.D.S. and friends constantly make references to their own kind throughout the series.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: Both A.D.S. and V.D.S. cheated in the episode A.D.S. on Ice throughout the snowboard race. It didn't work out for either of them.
  • Darker and Edgier: The entire Nicktoons Tales of Terror episode. All attempts at being child-friendly has been thrown out the window, which means blood and even deaths were seen in this particular episode.
  • Emoticon: The author regularly makes emoticons of the main character.
    • (^L^)W A.D.S. says hi!
  • Evil Counterpart: The Nickteens.
  • For the Lulz: A.D.S.' speech towards the Azu-Girls makes it sound like the Nicktoons regularly injure themselves in their antics for this reason.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Why did Cosmo and Wanda turn Timmy into a literal chick magnet? Because the rules stated that fairies can't interfere with true love.
  • Halloween Episode: Nicktoons Tales of Terror.
  • Mega Crossover
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Keii-D.S. did this upon killing Shino.
  • Noodle Incident: How Hino got her super strength. See below...
    • Also, the time when A.D.S. brought in a wolverine into his house.
  • Noodle Implements: The story of Hino's Super Strength involved, in the words of the author, 'a serum, a bit of rip and tear, and it involved the police.'
  • Power Trio: A.D.S., Timmy, and Zim, of course!
  • Stalker with a Crush: Hino is implied to be one.
  • The Nicktoon's Movie: Set to be the grand finale of the series.
  • Ridiculously Human Robot: A.D.S. fits this trope with a capital 'T.' V.D.S. also counts, as well.
  • Unwanted Harem: A.D.S. really didn't want anyone else to fall for him. The harem is much more obvious in the Terror segment When the Crickets Cry.
  • Wacky Racing: The entire Duo or Die episode.
