Complete Monster: Redda
- Moral Event Horizon: When he seized Rokuna hostage, demanded the Monster Items from Mondo while holding a fake Rokuna at swordpoint, put her inside the Terror Dragon's neck, and ordered the dragon to suck most of Mondo's monster friends into a black hole. Mondo, being a usually cheerful 11 year old, ends up suicidal from his feelings of loss and failure, and it takes him quite a bit to get better. Not to mention, Rokuna was THIS close to get slaughtered in a truly horrible way.
Evil Is Cool: Reda.
Evil Is Sexy: Count Collection. Reda, as well.

Nightmare Fuel: As if Reda's scary death mask that he wears over his hot Bishonen face wasn't frightening enough, he loves subjecting things to disturbing splooshy transformations as well, such as having Oroboros give such a transformation to the Terror Dragon in order to give Oroboros a new body after the Terror Dragon itself is resurrected by him.
Magnificent Bastard: Reda. Very cool and sexy looks, devious Chessmaster skills, remarkably manipulative, and nice The Plan much? Yep, you can't get any better than that. Also manages to be a Complete Monster (see said section above).
Moe: Many characters, among them protagonists Mondo and Rockna and especially the airheaded Gluko.
Woolseyism: Some think the added humor in the dub made the show even funnier, especially with the main antagonists Eccentro, Batch, and Gluko.
