Minimonsters/Awesome

El Veneno de Porcelana (Porcelain Poison)

  • Piruja locking up Rattus Sapiens by fooling him, getting herself out of capture in the process.
  • After that, Victor tricking him into believing he was the Beetle God to complete his plan. Pretty clever for an otherwise Smug Snake.
  • Frank joins the former two in tricking him by exploiting his "Know-It-All" attitude just so he and Victor could escape.
  • Frank, being fed up with Victor's ungratefulness, starts calling him out of his horrible behavior.

El Perfeccionator (The Perfeccionator)

  • It's been stated Lupo absolutely hates Victor's guts, but has been putting up with it for Frank's sake. However, when Victor becomes the leader of the gang by taking advantage of Frank's Heroic BSOD, Lupo makes it clear he's not going to tolerate Victor's bullshit. So what does he do? He publicly challenges him to fight Quasim to prove his leadership qualities, fully knowing Victor is a Dirty Coward who has absolutely no chance in winning the fight. And while it doesn't go quite the way he planned, it worked.
  • After recovering from his Heroic BSOD, Frank proves to be unflappable to Victor's insults, but it's with a mere Armor-Piercing Question (asking why he is a better leader than him) and a Stealth Insult (answering to Victor's claim that everyone wants to be with him that it includes Quasim) it shows who is the real leader of the gang, as well as exposing how insecure and foolish Victor really is.
  • After being constantly kicked around by Miss Hit's machinations, Frank manages to strike back at her by giving her hiccup pills, preventing her from giving orders to her mind-controlled mooks; and later tricking her into looking at Victor's truth mirror, providing a distraction to immovilize her and transform her back into Henrietta.

Frank: *to Miss Hit* Without your orders, we won't get captured. And the pill's effects only fade with fear... thing you'll never have. We won.

El Gran Partido de Calabacesto (The Great Pumpkinball Match)

  • The whole Pumpkinball match, while hilarious, shows both teams putting their own abilities to very good use. Even Muerte Chunga's cheating, while awful, is actually quite clever (at least until it inevitably blows up in their faces).
  • While rather small compared to the others on this page, Frank's comeback to Skin for insulting Lupo should get a mention, especially since he proves to be right.

Skin: Pfff! That hairball is always sleeping.
Frank: Good for you, Skin. After all, you know wolves do love eating bones.
Skin: Agh!

  • When the Muerte Chunga team tries to cheat by trying to knock out Robert Louis and score the final goal, he stops the ball and delivers their just desserts by using them as bowling pins. Made even more impressive in that Robert Louis shows clear Tranquil Fury before switching to his other self.
  • Frank's one liner before scoring the winning goal:

Frank: Better get some pizza, Morty... 'CAUSE TODAY YOU WON'T EAT BRAINS!!! *scores*

    • Even more awesome if you take into account Morty previously taunted him about how he'll soon eat his brains. Seeing his smug smile completely replaced with an epic Oh Crap is just the icing of the cake.
  • Piruja piloting a toilet brush. It's both hilarious and incredibly awesome, considering she is otherwise an Inept Witch.
  • The lost giant bunny saving the monsters from being eaten by a crazy Arrmando.

Cazador de Monstruos (The Monster Hunter)

  • Lupo and Nieve's fight contains this on both sides, trying to outsmart each other.
  • One has to give kudos to Caballa for not only managing to capture Minimonsters, but also dealing with Flan Helsing's bullshit on a daily basis.
  • Flan Helsing, of all people, finally gets one when, after being transformed into a Yeti, manages to knock out Miss Hit, who threw Quasim out like a ragdoll. Then there's his Badass Boast:

Flan Helsing: I, Flan Helsing, will be famous everywhere... AS THE LEAST WEAK HUMAN! *knocks Miss Hit out*

  • Piruja, Lupo and Nieve flawlessly working together to stop Flan Helsing, especially considering Lupo and Nieve's rocky start.
  • Momsés has spent most of the album struggling to ride Frank's turbo skateboard. At the end, not only he manages to get a hold of it, but proves crucial in Flan Helsing's defeat.

Meta

  • David Ramírez managing to compil every single album, finish the fifth one, and add every page previously published in the Dibus! magazine, all in one album. Can't get any more awesome than that.
